Want Total Freedom and No Responsibility? Be a Democrat!

Apparently, being a Democrat makes you immune to the Beer Bug. Who knew?

This immunity doesn’t seem to discriminate between the lefty-fascist “progressive” kind, the “conservative” or “libertarian” kind or the Republican-wannabe Establishment kind.

The DNC’s nominee for First Crook, Creepy Joe, is a prime example of the last kind.

From Kamala Harris’ Twitter feed — 8:20 AM ⋅ August 17, 2020

In that picture, it’s plainly obvious that this is a gathering of more than five [5] people, and that they do not appear to be practicing any “social distancing” protocols.

As the TV pitchmen say, “But wait, there’s more!

In this second picture, it’s plain to see that not only are they not “social distancing,” but they aren’t wearing the idiotic masks that they insist that the rest of us wear any time that we step outside of our homes.

H/T Joseph L. Roberts — Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 8:01 AM

It seems like Eric July called it last month when he [sarcastically] said in a video clip that “the virus is woke” and able to tell what your politics are, and only infect those who aren’t lefty fascist types of the sort that are working for the DNC, its affiliates and candidates.

After all, when you’re a lefty fascist whackjob, you can get away with just about anything, as Larry Correia writes:

Larry Correia

When a lone nut job maniac goes on a mass shooting, he represents all gun owners (even if his manifesto is all pro gun control). Even if he’s a raving left winger or has no coherent philosophy at all, he represents all republicans/Christians/white men/whatever group the left has a hate boner for this week. And the existence of this lone nut maniac irreparably taints half the population of America with guilt, even if they have nothing in common with him at all.

However, if somebody wearing a hoody and a ski mask, looting, burning shit, while chanting fuck the police and flying the hammer and sickle, gets caught on video beating someone with a baseball bat… HOW DARE YOU ASSUME THEY ARE ANTIFA?!? HE DOES NOT HAVE AN ANTIFA NAME TAG ON! WHERE IS HIS ANTIFA ID CARD? HOW DARE YOU SMEAR THESE INNOCENT MOSTLY PEACEFUL PEOPLE WITH THE ACTIONS OF A FEW BAD APPLES?!?

This may sound crazy, but just remember. If you are on the right you share collective guilt for every bad thing which has ever happened, even if it was done by people on the left. And if you are on the left, you are free from sin because you Care Harder.

On the individual level, if you are on the right, you are responsible for things that other people’s ancestors did 200 years ago. But if you are on the left, you aren’t responsible for what you are doing right now.

Also see this video clip, where the guy holding the gun on the woman in the car says (no way that I could have made this up) —

“I am not a cop, I will fucking shoot you. I’m a Democrat. I can shoot you because Democrats get away with everything.”

Stupor Tuesday 2020 — Overhyped and Underwhelming

Image H/T Stephen Carville

For what I’m seeing at about 3 AM, it looks like Gropey Joe Biden has won a lead on Bernie Sanders, with Sanders coming in second.

Whichever of them is the eventual DNC nominee matters not much to me, as the chances of my casting a ballot for either of them is as close to zero without actually being zero.

On a side note, Amy Klobuchar and Petey Buttigieg dropped out and endorsed Gropey Joe. Did Joe cop a courtesy feel on each of them as a consolation prize?

The best news of the night comes in two parts:

  1. Bloomberg, a real-life Duke of New York, came in third place after he blew through about 500,000,000 of his personal cash reserve while pitching his promotion of victim disarmament policies as a good thing. Serves him right. He appears to be re-assessing whether or not to continue a seperate campaign, or to back Gropey Joe. To be fair, the Duke did win American Samoa.
  2. On the Republican side of it all, Mr. Bill the Original Weldist got his head handed to him by T.rump. At this time (Wednesday, 5 March at 3 AM), Mr. Bill doesn’t seem to have received more than ten percent (10%) of the votes cast in any state, including his home state of Massachusetts. To date, his highest vote total seems to be that of the News Hampshire primary, where he got about 13-14 % of the votes cast. Even there, for every vote Mr. Bill got, T.rump got SIX votes. But that doesn’t stop him from sending out fundraising emails saying “this is our chance to take down Donald Trump.”

On the LP side of the 2020 presidential camapign season, Lincoln Chafee seems to be coming in a solid eleventh place, and deservedly so, as Chafee, like Mr. Bill who reportedly encouraged him to run as a “Libertarian,” doesn’t seem to have the slightest clue of what the Libertarian Party is supposed to be all about. (I for one am still waiting to see any evidence that Mr. Bill cares or ever did care about the Non-Agrression Principle. Not holding my breath here.)

Just Say No 2017-2018 v1

“After Albuquerque mayoral candidate Brian Colón filed his first campaign finance report, he issued a statement touting the $357,000 he raised and the support he received from ‘some of the area’s key stakeholders.’

“But Colón has returned $5,150 to one of those key stakeholders — Attorney General Hector Balderas — after the Secretary of State’s Office determined that the contribution wasn’t legal because it was made through Balderas’ campaign fund.”
Albuquerque Journal: Mayoral candidates forced to return some contributions, by Martin Salazar, Journal Staff Writer

Shouldn’t Balderas as the sitting State Attorney General have been aware that he was about to make an illegal campaign contribution and thus refrained from doing so?

Of all people, the State Attorney General should expected to know the current law and stick to it.

If Balderas is going to use the line “Ignorance of the law is no excuse” against others, then he shouldn’t be breaking the law himself.

Likewise, Colón, being a practicing attorney and member of the NM Bar Association himself, should also have known the law and not accepted the 5,150 from Balderas.

At any rate, I will be scratching Balderas’ name off of my list of acceptable gubernatorial candidates at this point.

Nor will I be supporting Richard Berry’s 2018 gubernatorial bid.

Likewise, I will not be supporting either Brian Colón or Dan Lewis to be the next Mayor of Albuquerque.

Aside from the mayoral candidacy of Wayne Johnson, I’ll be supporting either Dumpster Fire or Cthulhu for mayor.

Vote NO on the UNMH Mill Levy

Vote NO on this mill levy.

Tell UNM to get that 95 million from the legislators’ pensions, the film subsidies, the Local Economic Devlopment Authority, oil and gas subsidies, NMHIX, the Obamacare Medicaid expansion, among other places.

The politicians love to load up the bond issues and mill levies with the popular stuff – buildings, infrastructure and “services” that “must” done by government, because “no one in the private sector can or will do them” – police, libraries, senior centers, community centers, sewers, storm drains, flood control, and so forth.

We all know that’s hogwash, to put it delicately.

Once the politicians load up the bonds and levies with the popular stuff, that frees them to use more from the general budget for their pet projects, their legalized vote-buying schemes (each City Councilor in Albuquerque is allocated ∅1-2 million annually for “needed improvements in their district), making sure that someone in the inside loop gets the contract for the next “necessary” project.

And when was the last time that taxes in Bernalillo County actually went down? Between the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County, we’re paying some of the highest gross receipt taxes in the state – currently at 7.3125 percent.

Now they expect us to pay even more?!

Tell the politicians that for every new tax they want to impose upon us, at the very least, get rid of an equivalent tax, so that the overall burden doesn’t increase.

Or – and I know this will be taken as pure insanity by the Political Classholes – they could actually CUT taxes a bit. (AND cut some spending, too? Would that really be too much to ask?)

Vote Dumpster Fire 2016

Can there be any doubt that Dumpster Fire is head-and-shoulders above the other candidates in this election season

Do Hillary Trump and Donald Clinton have any hope of besting Dumpster Fire in any debate? We think not — that’s why the Commission won’t let Dumpster Fire participate in the upcoming debates.

Wouldn’t you like to see Dumpster Fire on the debate stage?

We can say for certain —

  • Dumpster Fire will NOT raise your taxes, increase public spending, ban your guns, intrude into your bedroom or regulate your business affairs.
  • Dumpster Fire will NOT send your children, spouses or siblings overseas to fight other peoples’ wars or to further the American Empire.
  • Dumpster Fire will NOT attempt to interfere in how Americans better themselves on their own.
  • Dumpster Fire does not seek to make you a criminal simply because of what you smoke, drink, or otherwise intoxicate yourself with.
  • Nor does Dumpster Fire seek to take your property to build a monument or national park, or to hand it off to some big donor for private profit.
  • Dumpster Fire has no desire to bail out financially insolvent corporations who say that they’re “too big to fail.” Nor will Dumpster Fire seek to subsidize corporations who make donations over their competition, nor to regulate those competitors out of existence.
  • Dumpster Fire will NOT bow to special interests to shut down politically incorrect industries.

Donations are cheerfully accepted from all entities, individual and corporate, behind most strip mall shopping centers in America. Preferred forms are paper, wood, plastic, rubber, styrofoam and flammable liquids. Donated Federal Reserve Notes will be rendered unusable as a result of being donated.

If you want to help the Dumpster Fire campaign, use these tags on Facebook, Twiiter and anywhere else hashtags will work:

“Intellectual freedom cannot exist without political freedom; political cannot exist without economic freedom; a free mind and a free market are corollaries.” — Ayn Rand

Dear New Mexicans, — 1 item —

Breaking: This came in moments ago.

Progressive Democrat, Pat Davis — founder of Progressive Now and running for city council, District 6, is running against the Republican candidate, Hess “Hessito” Yntema.

We need very importantly to elect the Republican, Hessito. There is a good opportunity to do so.

District 6 voters have 3 choices for City Councilor: Progressive Pat Davis, another Democrat who is challenging him and Hess “Hessito” Yntema, a Republican.

Whatever your party affiliation, you should know that Pat Davis has a DWI record, about which he lied to the Albuquerque Journal.

He told the Journal that he accepts responsibility for the arrest. However, the Journal has evidence that that is not exactly true. The Journal states that Mr. Davis’ attorney tried for months to have the charges dismissed, filing several motions to that end. Only when those motions to dismiss were denied did Mr. Davis “accept responsibility.”

Personally, I urge voters to vote for the Republican. With the possibility of a bigger effort coming for the so-called “fair” work week that the Progressives are pushing, it is vital to strengthen the Republican position on the City Council. I surely hope everyone will vote early.

Thank you for your attention to this e-mail.

What evidence exists that Little Hessie actually cares about those Tea Party values of laissez-faire free markets, Constitutionally-limited government, individual rights and public-sector fiscal restraint?

It should be plain for all who do care about those values that someone simply having “REP” printed on their voter registration card isn’t sufficient proof of a candidate’s fidelity to the cause of freedom.

Will Hess Jr. stand up for those Tea Party values against the likes of the Keynesian Richard Berry when it comes time to vote against such “improvements” as the 50-mile bike path, the summertime skating rink?

How about when Friedman Recycling demands a guaranteed profit margin from its contract with the Berry Administration?

What is his position on the right to own and carry weapons, as protected by the Second Amedment and Article II, Section 6 of the New Mexico State Constitution?

Will Hess Jr. stand up for that right, or will he treat gun owners as Nate Gentry, Monica Youngblood and Susana Martinez have in the past — as a political soccer ball, to be kicked around when it’s expedient to do so?

Trump and the GOP

Filed under: Comedy, Humor, Politics, Principles — Tags: , , , , , , , — mikewb1971 @ 5:32 AM

6/29/2015 5:15 PM:

“Cultural Marxism and its many variants, such as political correctness and multiculturalism, is now firmly ensconced in the White House and the Democrat Party, while the Republican Party, dominated by eunuchs and the avaricious, continuously accommodates its “principles” to match an ever-shifting leftward movement of the “conventional wisdom.” It does so solely to maintain its place as the token opposition and grifter at the federal tax-revenue trough for the personal financial benefits that it provides.

I’ve never seen a more perfect summation of the GOP’s “principles” or more accurately, lack thereof, principles — besides the following:

  1. Milking the donors.
  2. Filling as many public offices with fellow GOP trough-feeders as possible.
  3. Milking the rest of the population on behalf of themselves and their sponsors, using the tax-feeding officeholders.

Perhaps Rand Paul will follow in his father’s footsteps and be an exception to this. Possibly Ted Cruz, as well. As for the rest, they’re mere media-hounding streetwalker wannabes, such as Mr. Trump . . . .

I like Donald Trump in a half-hearted way. I like his macho no-nonsense response to those who try to pretend business is merely the handmaiden of politics. I like that he is aware of his own hard work to build his business and greatly increase the fortune his father bequeathed to him.

Except for his corporate bankruptcies, that is:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump#Legal_affairs

I like that he is proud of his success, neither meek or humble. But I don’t like what I consider a failing of many business people, a lack of grasp of fundamental principles.

Donald Trump’s guiding principle seems to be limited to one: Donald Trump.

Whatever keeps him in the limelight seems to be OK with him.

Until I see otherwise, I’ll consider his 2016 campaign to be prep work for another season of The Apprentice.

I fear that like Joe McCarthy, he will go overboard and kill his own best characteristics, making himself a buffoon similar to Joe Biden if he does not become more fully acquainted with the basic premises of his political position.

Trump is very, very good at making a buffoon of himself.

Back in 2008, Trump attempted to run for president on the Reform Party ticket, advocating a 14% tax on rich people.

For example, recently, it looks as though he paid people $50 a head to show up at his “presidential announcement” rally and make it look like they like him:

Spam, Spam and More Spam

Another bit of spam circulated to me from the infrared-emitting meat-puppet (R) in the Billingsley “vs.” Bregman turd-polishing contest commonly referred to as “the U.S. Senate race” :

9/27/2014 6:26 AM:

From the Weh campaign, Albuquerque

“Why is long-time entrenched career politician Tom Udall running negative campaign ads? Because he doesn’t want you to know the facts.

Udall’s new attack ad today claims we want to deny seniors their healthcare. Who is he kidding?

He’s the only candidate in this race that voted to cut Medicare by $716 billion when he cast his deciding vote for ObamaCare! He cast a deciding vote to rob Medicare to help pay for it. “Tom Foolery” at its best!

So the GOP plan to “support health freedom” is to complain about Obama’s 21st century scheme of medical national socialism by saying it will take away from Lyndon Johnson’s 1965 scheme of medical national socialism?

They do know that Lyndon Johnson was a Democrat? One of the people that they say they’re against, correct?

So much for the GOP supporting those Tea Party ideals of free markets, limited government and individual rights.

But the reality of campaign advertising is that it can influence voters — even if it’s not true. And Udall’s ad is not only NOT true, it’s almost a joke! But now we have to quickly craft an ad to reply to this false attack, and that costs money we hadn’t planned on.

What’s the matter? Did Weh run out of funds from his profiteering shell-game known as “CSI Aviation” ? Not enough taxpayer FRNs coming in from We The Fleeced to count as “contributions” ?

He can always pass the hat to Slick Willard Romney.

But Weh has a two-shot here – after Weh responds to the latest Udall attempt at mudslinging, then Weh can do another ad telling us how great that ad was – isn’t that how it works?

Please help us respond to Udall’s attack so we can get the real truth out to our voters. Please give $75, $150, or $250 to help us stand up to Tom Udall.

Ask David Clements for some cash.

Who owns you? Who runs your life? Who wipes your ass? Who should – you or someone else?
